Biography
Bryan is a graduate of the Universities of East Anglia and Durham in Music and Composition and thereafter trained as a teacher, gaining a PGCE. He has extensive experience as a professional musician, having been a Tenor Choral Scholar and Lay Clerk in the Cathedral Choirs of Norwich, Durham, Gloucester andĀ Chester Cathedrals. He is currently a Gentleman in Ordinary of theĀ Chapel Royal Hampton Court Palace and is pursuing a growing singing and teaching career in London.
He has a Masters Degree in Composition from the University of Durham and has been involved in writing music for school communities in Chester, notably collaborating heavily in the recent government “Sing Up” initiative, aimed at encouraging singing at Junior Schools. The music was performed at Chester Cathedral and opened Chester’s annual Midsummer Festival in 2008. Bryan also accepts commissions for adult choirs and ensembles.
